Turnkey Changing Places Toilets

Turnkey Changing Places Toilets, part of RDV Contracting Ltd, provides a complete end-to-end service for the design, supply, installation, and registration of fully compliant Changing Places toilet facilities.

Since January 2021, UK legislation has required new large public buildings – including shopping centres, transport hubs, stadiums, and venues with a capacity of 350 people or more – to incorporate a Changing Places toilet as part of their commitment to inclusivity. Introducing our latest modular solution, the all new S.A.F.E. Sleep Pod, an innovative emergency sleep pod developed by RDV Contracting Ltd to provide a secure, comfortable refuge for those in need of immediate shelter. Designed to fit within the footprint of a standard UK car parking space, the S.A.F.E. pod combines practicality, safety, and dignity in one compact, self-contained unit.

Each pod features a bedroom area and a toileting facility with the option to include a shower, offering flexibility for a range of applications. Built from anti-vandal, anti-ligature, and fire-resistant materials, the unit ensures maximum safety and durability in any environment. A stainless-steel entrance door with secure locking options, fire-resistant mattress, and high thermal performance (U-values matching new-build standards) help maintain warmth and protection year-round.

Inside, the pod provides a toilet, basin, and 12v charging power, along with a window for natural light, integrated blind, and a canopy for weather protection. Thoughtful touches such as a graphic feature wall create a more welcoming feel, helping users experience a sense of comfort and privacy during difficult times.

S.A.F.E. pods can be self-sufficient or connected to existing services, making them suitable for local authorities, charities, and emergency response providers. As a temporary building, installation is often straightforward and may not require planning permission – allowing rapid deployment where and when safe accommodation is most needed.
